Joseph Reichard, son of Daniel, was born Oct. 17, 1823, died on March 27, 1900. He was a farmer near Muhlenberg College. His 52-acre farm is now the property of Edwin Lichtenwalner. Two tenant houses on this farm are still the property of his son, Allen J. Reichard. He was a township supervisor for a period of twenty years. He and family were Lutheran members of the Cetronia church, which he served as a deacon and elder. His wife, Florenda, was a daughter of Samuel Frankenfield. She was born Oct. 17, 1818, died on Sept. 8, 1903 in 85th year. Their children were Ellen (m. Levi Kressler); Adamissa (18481 - 876); Samuel D, of Elwood, Ind.; Joseph E,; Horatio (1853-1897) ; Allen J; and Sarah, who died young.
