Hartman Reinhard, 2rd son of Adam and Maria Barbara Reinhard, was born Dec. 11, 1760. He was baptized Feb. 22, 1761, by Rev. J. A. Fridderici and his sponsors were Hartmann Leipzig and wife, Anna Margaretha. He became a farmer in Salisbury Township, along the Little Lehigh, which he conducted for many years. He died May 18, 1822. He was buried at the Salisbury church. He married Catharine, daughter of Henry and Anna Maria Kemmerer. She was born Oct. 16, 1771 and died March 15, 1832. They had five children: Polly, John, Solomon, George, and Henry. Polly was born Feb. 11, 1794 and married Jacob Steininger. She died Sept. 25, 1845.
