Moses Roberts, the son of Moses Roberts, Sr., was a native of Essex county, New York, where he was born May 30, 1848, and from l864 to 1910 was engaged in the manufacture of cut and wire nails. He also at one time manufactured railroad spikes at the Allentown Iron Works. He died suddenly at his home at Allentown, Sept. 18, 1911.
