Mrs. Leanna D. Hornbeck, widow of Henry J. Hornbeck, died April 17, 1934, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert C. Bear, Evanston, Illinois, aged 83 years. She was born in Bucks County, the daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth Diehl. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, the Woman's Club of Allentown and of the Daughters of the War of 1812. She is survived by two brothers, Oliver Diehl, U. S. N., and Mahion Diehl, Fayette County, and a son, Henry J. Hornbeck, secretary and treasurer of the Lehigh Valley Trust Co., and a daughter, Mrs. Robert G. Bear, ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
