Jesse Reichart, son of Michael, was born Jan. 2, 1823. He lived upon the homestead in Whitehall serving his township as school director and supervisor. His wife was Luzetta Dieffenderfer. She was born Nov. 2, 1825, and died Dec. 16, 1894. in her 70th year. He died May 18, 11893, in his 7ist year. His death occurred at Fullerton, with his daughter, Lizzie, where he and his wife spent their latter days. They are buried at Mickley's church, of which they were Lutheran members, and he was deacon and elder of the church.
