Adam Engler, son of Adam, was born in Plainfield township about 1774. In earlier years he conducted a raft upon the Delaware river, then he removed upon a large farm in Ross township, now Monroe county; there he farmed until his death in 1822, aged 4.8 years. He is buried at the St. Michael's Union church. He was married to Sarah Larn. Children: Jacob, Edward, and Mrs. Peter Arnold. Three of the Sons were Jacob, George, and Adam, Jr.
