Tobias Semmel, Jr., born Feb. 22, 1786, lived along the Jordan creek, in North Whitehall Township, where he had a small farm where he lived and died July 5, 1847. He was buried at Unionville Church. His wife was Anna Maria Klotz. Issue: Benjamin, Jonathan, of Mechanicsville. Pa; Dennis, who lived upon the homestead; in the employ of Stephen Kistler, and died at Slatington; Joseph, settled in Lancaster County, PA; Mary, (Mrs. Artier); Sallie, married William Walt, of Rockdale; and Polly, married to Henry Haas.
