LEON D. SCHWARTZ was born Nov. 15, 1887. He was educated in the public school of Siegfried, Pennsylvania. After finishing the first year in the high school, he attended the American Business College at Allentown. For a number of years he filled an important position in the John Wanamaker New York store. On Jan. 7, 1911, he was married to Helen M. Biegley, a daughter of William Biegley. Two children have been born to Mr. and Mrs. Schwartz: Helen B., and Mary S.
