DR. OLVER J. SCHEETZ, dentist at Allentown, was born in Lynn Township, May 19, 1878. He was educated in the public schools and when sixteen years old was granted a certificate to teach school; but he chose a business career, accepting a position as clerk and bookkeeper with the Joseph Obert Packing Co. at Lehighton, Pa., and continued in their employ from Oct. 1, 1898, until October 15, 1907; and on the latter day, after working several hours, he suddenly decided to take up a professional career. He left he same day and entered the Medico Chirurgical College at Philadelphia and graduated form the department of Dentistry in 1910. While a student, he worked in the Bank of North America at Philadelphia, a position he retained six months after his graduation then entered a dental office, at Lancaster. Pa., and continued there until he located at 713 Hamilton street. Allentown. He is a member of the Ps iOmega Dental Fraternity; the Starr Society of Stomatology, The Morris I. Shamberg Society of Oval Surgery, the L. Ashley Faught Society of Dental Dispensary and Operating Dentistry.
