FRANK A. R. QUIEIR, of Allentown, was born March 30, 1873, in Weisenberg. Alter his parents had moved to Allentown, he worked in the car shops and later in the silk-mill. Since 1900 he has been a carpenter. He was associated with E. J. Bittner, in general contract work for four years under the nane of Quier & Bittner. In 1909 he purchased a 29-acre farm, situated in Bucks county and after farming it for three years he returned to Allentown and resumed work at his trade. He is a member of these lodges: K G.E.. A. O. K of M. S., and Order of Buffalos.

On September 2, 1892, he married Katie J. Diehl, daughter of Thomas and granddaughter of Jonas Dichl of Lowhill. They have two children: Mabel L. and Edward H. All of them are members of the St. Stephen's Lutheran Church
