John Donaldson Ormrod married Mary J. Rose, daughter of Henry T. Rose, iron fence manufacturer of Allentown, and has two children. He is vice-president and superintendent of the Donaldson Iron Works, at Emaus; also a director in the Emaus National Bank, and a member of the Union League and the Manufacturers Club of Philadelphia; and the Livingston Club, of Allentown. All are members of the Lehigh Country Club, of Allentown. He is also a member of the American Institute of Mining Engineers, of New York City.
