Miss A. H. Ellene Wenner, daughter of Ephraim and Levina (nee Haines) Wenner, died September 6, 1935. She was born in South Whitehall Township. Most of her life was spent in Philadelphia, but the last eight years she lived in Allentown. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, and was particularly interested in the sewing and the missionary societies. She was a sister of the late John F. Wenner, for many years connected with the Allentown National Bank. Her only surviving relative is a brother, Hiram W. Wenner, of Chicago. In her will she made several generous gifts to charities.
