Charles E. Wenner, son of Charles, of South Whitehall, was born April 5, 1850. He was a miller for five years at the Bortz mill, owned by his father and in 1875 began farming a seventy seven-acre tract. In 18731 he married Emma E., daughter of William. K. and Helena (Scbmoyer) Levan, of Lower Macungie, and had seven children.
