Peter Wenner, the third son of John, was a carpenter and farmer in South Whitehall, where he owned two farms on one of which he lived, near Wennersville. He was a school director and township supervisor, and in the early fifties was one of the organizers of the South Whitehall Sons and Daughters of Temperance. No. 391. of Crackersport. He was a deacon, elder and trustee, of the Jordan Lutheran church, and died Aug. 22, 1885. He married Ellemina, daughter of Jeremiah Trexler, and had seven children.
