William Weiler died on Sunday at his home in Longswamp, Berks county, after an illness of two weeks. He was for about twenty years engaged in the general store business at Longswamp and for the last five years lived retired. His wife preceded him in death by 19 years.

These children survive: Jonas O. Weiler, of Ringtown; John A., of Philadelphia; Mrs. D. D. Fritch, of Macungie; Mrs. Edward Rose, of Reading, and Mrs. A. M. Wise, residing at home. Two brothers surviving are James, the merchant at Weilersville, and Peter J., of Macungie. He reached an advanced age, his 83d birthday would have taken place on Feb. 28. He always enjoyed good health until his last illness. He was widely and favorably known. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 1.30 o'clock. Services and interment at the Longswamp Church, Rev. N. W. Helfrich officiating.
