John A. Waidelich the youngest son of Dexter Waidellich by his first marriage was born at Steinsville. May 3, 1887, and he graduated from the public schools there in 1902. The following year he was licensed to teach school, and has taught three terms in Lynn Township in a successful manner. He was graduated from Pierce Business College at Philadelphia in 1900 after which he accepted a position as bookkeeper with the New York Belting and Packing Company, at Philadelphia, which he filled until 1910, when he became the assistant store manager for the American Medicine Company at Allentown.

Mr. Waidelich is a member of Greenleaf Lodge. No 561, F & A. M., Allentown; and Caldwell Consistory. 32, A. A. S. It. of Bloomsbwg, Pa.; the I. 0. 0. F., at Steinsville; Jacksonville Lodge, No 343, K G. E.. of which he passed through the chairs twice; and is also a Past Chief. In 1906. he was a delegate to the state convention of the K G. E. which met at Harrisburg, Pa.
