Peter Troxell, the son, was born Sept. 1, 1775, and died Aug. 2. 1841. He farmed the land he inherited and built the house and barn on the north side of the Jordan, now owned by the Lewis D. Hunsicker estate. He was frequently designated by the nickname, "Schnitz Peter," and was a well-known and popular man in the vicinity. He was buried at Jordan church. He married Magdalena Siegfried, who was born Jan 1, 1780, and died Feb. 20. 1860. They had ten children.
