THOMAS A. SCHADT, son of Thomas and Hannah (Stofflet) Schadt, was born March 5, 1860. He was educated in the public schools of his native place. For a number of years he has manifested great interest in family history. He assists his father on the farm and spends a great deal of time in the research for data on the different branches of his family history. He has gathered a great many dates and books treating on family history. He has given special attention to, and is an authority on the Schadt, Stofflet and Peter families. He is a member of the Reformed congregation of Egypt church and also is a member of the Lehigh County Historical Society and the Pennsylvania German Society.
