Mrs. Fannie R., nee Roth, Murray, widow of T. Randolph Murray, died at her home, 430 N. 6th St., Allentown, on October 12, 1944 in her 73rd year.
Mrs. Murray was a native of Chapmans Station, Lehigh County, and a daughter of William F. and Annie Roth, After attending the township schools, she entered the Moravian Seminary for Women at Bethlehem.
Upon her graduation she became active in the Allentown Woman's club, and the Lehigh County Historical society, in which connection she assisted Charles R. Roberts in the preparation of historical data in completing a history of the county. She took a great interest in the Oratorio society with the late Dr. C. A. Marks.
Mrs. Murray was well read and assisted her brother, George,in the preparation of the Allentown Leader. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran church. where she placed a memorial in memory of her husband who passed away on Jan. 7, 1930.
