Peter Roth, born Oct. 21, 1760, died May 24, 1834. He was a farmer and lived in the small stone house standing on the right hand side of the Mauch Chunk road, at Seiple's Station He married, Oct. 14, 1786, Juliana Margaret Musgenung ,who was born Feb. 1. 1758, and died Sept. 17, 1841. He was a large man, physically, possessed of considerable strength and served in the War of 1812. He had only one son, who attained maturity. His second son, John Jacob Roth, born March 28, 1788, died in his youth.
