J. HARVEY ROMIG, senior member of the firm of Romig & Bear, tombstone cutters of Allentown, Pa., was born in Lower Macungie, June 17, 1862. He was educated in the public schools of his native township and at the age of 15 years learned the trade of stone cutting, continuing in that profession as journeyman in Macungie for one year.
