Owen Rhoads, youngest son of John, was born May 25, 1811, in Allentown. He located as a young man in Lower Milford near Dillingersville, where he was one of the early schoolteachers, and became a prominent member of the Mennonite Church. He died April 25, 1900, aged 88 years. He married, Jan. 26, 1837, Catharine Schantz, who was born Sept. 19, 1812, and died Feb. 19, 1864. They had six children. Mr. Rhoads now lives retired near Zionsville, and leases his fine farm near Dillinger station.
