Charles F. Mickley, a resident of Ballietsville, Pa., was born in August 1870, in North Whitehall Township. He attended the public schools and pursued a course in the Easton Academy, after which he clerked in a hardware store in Allentown for five years. In 1898 he entered the employ of the Lehigh Portland Cement Company, where he is still employed. He is a member of Chapman Lodge, No. 637, F. &. A. M. and of the Reformed church, at Unionville, where he served as deacon for two years. He married, in 1900, Catharine H. Balliet daughter of Benjamin Ballet.
