Dewey C. Lentz, 84, of 10 Nisbet Court, Slatington R.1, died Monday in the Leader Nursing and Rehabilitation Center II, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Mildred W. (Conrad) Lentz and the late Mabel I. (Peters) Lentz.

He was owner-operator of Lentz's Garage, Newhards, Slatington R.3, for 46 years, retiring in 1972.

Born in Washington Township, he was a son of the late Gideon and and Magdelene (Lentz) Lentz.

He was a member of the Frieden's United Church of Christ, Slatington R.3.

He built the recreation area of Lentz Park, Washington Township.

Surviving with his widow are two daughters: Ellen M. wife of Harold H. Masenheimer of Allentown, and Constance E., wife of Dennis W. Sholl of Slatington; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 am Thursday in the Richard A Heintzelman Funeral Home, 54 Summit Road, Schnecksville. There will be no calling hours.
