Mary Catherine Weiser attained the active old age of 93 years. She was the descendant of the first publisher of Allentown's newspaper and was known to many of Allentown's citizens for her connection with Zollinger-Harned's Department Store. She was the only surviving member of her class at Cedar Crest College, the first graduation class from that College. She was born the daughter of Nelson and Elemina Massey Weiser and died in the Easton Hospital November 14, 1947. She is survived by four nephews and two nieces, three of whom are connected with the Call-Chronicle Newspapers.
