Salisbury Township, Sept. 20, 1872. He was educated in the public schools and the Allentown high school. He learned the upholstering trade and followed it as journeyman for fifteen years. In 1903 he became connected with the Kurtz Furniture Company and is its secretary since the incorporation of the company. Socially he belongs to the Woodmen of the World, and the Order of Red Men of Catasauqua. In 1896, he was married to Dora Wright, daughter of Sevilla Wright, of Catawissa. Mr. and Mrs. Jacoby are members of St. John's Reformed church, Allentown.
