Ivan W., son of Eugene I. and Deidama Minerva (Miller) Gangewere, was born March 2, 1881. He was educated at the public schools of Upper Saucon Township, and was graduated from the South Bethlehem Business College in 1899. He has been connected with the Guerber Engraving Company at West Bethlehem since its organization. When quite young he took a deep interest in Sunday school and church work, joining the Reformed church at Friedensville, transferring to the West Bethlehem church in 1913. He is a member of the Patriotic Order Sons of America, at Saucona, and of the Knights of the Golden Eagle at Center Valley, in each of which he is a past master. He married, Sept. 17, 1903, Jennie Kramer, and has one child, Marion Stella.
