Joseph Weidner, the son of John, was born near Trummbauersville. Bucks County. Nov. 16, 1795, one of six children. He married Elizabeth Breinig, who was born in Lehigh County, Nov. 26, 1800, and resided in Upper Saucon township, where he was a farmer and held membership in St. Paul's Lutheran Church. He had five children.
