Mrs. Sarah A. Breinig, who died August 19, 1944, was well known throughout Allentown and Lehigh County for her church activities. A member of Christ Lutheran church, Allentown, she was president of the Ladies' Aid society for 26 years, and also was a member of the Women's Missionary society.

A daughter of Joseph and Mary, nee Kleckner, Keefer, she was born in Egypt, and in 1906 moved to Allentown with her husband, the Rev. A. J. L. Breinig, who preceded her in death. Rev. Breinig had been pastor of the Trinity Lutheran church in Bowmanstown and died one week after the couple moved to Allentown.

Mrs. Breinig, who was 75 years old at the time of her death, resided at 22 N. Madison St. She was the mother of two daughters, Clarissa, Allentown school district art supervisor; Mrs. Margaret Bell of Rochelle Park, N. J.; and one son, Benjamin E. of Bloomfield, N. J.
