Early in 1976, when Kim was away at College and Charlotte had more time on her hands, friends persuaded her to try her hand in the real estate business. She started with Flynt Realty of Richardson in March of that year, and found the business to her liking, both interesting and lucrative. She took courses in Real Estate and obtained her broker's license. In September 1977 she became a Realtor Associate with the firm of Ebby Halliday in the Richardson Office. Charlotte enjoys golf, tennis and skiing. Her daughter Kim graduated from Oklahoma State University in June 1978 with a B.A. degree in Fashion Merchandizing (Department of Home Economics) and soon afterwards entered the employ of Joshe'. Department Store in Houston, Texas, as a management trainer/buyer.
