In his early years he was associated with his brother, Clinton H. Fuller, in the Globe Metal Works. After selling his share of the business in 1890 to his brother, Abbott F. Fuller then engaged in the oil business at Catasauqua. Abbott F. Fuller removed from Catasauqua around the turn of the new century, living first at Emmaus and then residing in West Philadelphia, where he died on January 21, 1941, being survived by a wife, one son and two daughters and a number of grandchildren, all of whom resided in Philadelphia. His mortal remains were returned to his native borough and buried in the Fuller family plot at Fairview Cemetery.
