Graduated from Carmel High School, Carmel, IN in 1977. Attended Ball State College and IUPUI (Indiana University and Purdue University at Indianapolis). In 1984 married Lisa Ann Bauer in Carmel, where they livedfor a short time. Moved to Venice, FL in 1985. Has been an employee ofthe United States Post Office since 1990. He is a family man and a man of faith. He enjoys fishing, racquet sports, guitar, and is an avid Steelers fan. Jim and Lisa were divorced on Oct. 7, 2009. He married Karen Davies Staudenmaier of Venice, FL on Feb. 19, 2010.
